These are the editorial projects I love the most—working with real people in a real, and sometimes dangerous, environment. Of course, the team has years of training and safety protocols, so when (or if) things get out of hand, they know exactly how to handle the situation without losing their cool. The burns themselves are crucial for several reasons, with one of the most important being the removal of old vegetation to make space for new growth.
