Project: Boyhood in Florida

Description: I came across Ian’s videos thanks to the algorithm. His page was filled with a vibe that screamed Florida man. When I asked to tag along on one of his river adventures, my idea was to document his wild aesthetic. Instead, our 8-hour river trip turned into an exploration of boyhood. Hanging out with his kids reminded me of my childhood in Florida. Playing in reptile-infested waters, shooting guns, soaking in a slow sun burn, and going deep into the wilderness for hours.
